- Ladies finger(trimmed, washed and drained, Vendakka) - 250 g
- Pomegranate seed powder(Anardana powder) - 1 tbsp
- Onion(finely sliced) - 1 no
- Red chilly powder - 2 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1/2 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Garam masala - 1/4 tsp
- Lemon juice - 1/2 tbsp
- Oil(As reqd) -
- Salt(As reqd) -

- For preparing ladies finger/bhindi/vendakkai/kari bevu anardana fry, first make a deep slit on one side of the ladies finger to make a pocket.
- Mix together the ingredients: pomegranate seed powder, red chilly powder, coriander, turmeric, garam masala and required salt with 2 tbsp of oil to make a fine thick paste.
- Stuff the interior of each ladies finger with the masala paste.
- Slide in the stuffed ladies finger and stir fry for 5 minutes turning occasionally to fry evenly.
- Ladies finger/bhindi/vendakkai/kari bevu anardana fry is ready. Sprinkle lemon juice and serve hot.
