Luqaimath ( Sweet Dumplings )
It is a traditional Arabic sweet dumplings. It is a common Ramadan dish among Arabs.

Ingredients

Sugar
1/4
Water
2 1/4
cup
Warm
milk
1
tsp
Yeast
3
tbsp
Yogurt
2 1/2
cup
Maida
3
tbsp
Corn flour
Salt
to taste.
Oil
for frying.
Instructions
Mix warm
milk
, yoghurt and yeast together.
Mix maida, corn flour and
salt
in a bowl.
Then add
milk
mixture to the bowl to make a batter,(It is neither too watery nor too thick) and keep it aside for half an hour.
After half an hour, the batter will rise enough. Heat
oil
in a wok, drop a small portion of the batter in
oil
using spoon.
Fry till it becomes golden brown colour. Drain and put fried dumplings in
sugar
syrup, coat well, take out and serve.
For the syrup, add
sugar
and
water
, boil it for three minutes. Allow it to cool.
Enjoy the sweety Luqaimath with your family.
