- Mackerel - 3 Nos.
- Red chilli powder - 1 1/2 Tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 Tsp
- Salt(As required) -
- Onion(Large) - 1 Nos.
- Tomato(Small) - 2 Nos.
- Green chilly - 2 Nos.
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 Tsp
- Pepper powder - 1/2 Tsp
- Garam masala - 1/4 Tsp
- Cooked rice - 3 Cups

- Marinate the mackerel in red chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt as required. Heat oil in a pan and fry both sides until cooked, then convert into a plate.
- When the onion turns light brown in colour, add crushed ginger garlic and green chillies. Saute till the raw smell goes off.
- Then add tomato, pepper powder and garam masala. Combine and saute for 4-5 minutes.
- Remove the bones and shred the fish using a fork. Add it into the masala. Mix well.
- Add cooked rice (you can add any kind of cooked rice ) and combine well. Turn off the flame.
