- For rice balls -
- Rice powder - 2 cup
- Salt to taste -
- Water as required -

- Coconut - 1 cup
- Mustard seed - 1/2 tsp
- Chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Shallots - 5
- garlic - 3
- Curry leaves - 1 hand
- Oil - 2 tbsp

- Make medium size balls out of the dough and steam cook it for 20 minutes.
- Cut each the cooked rice balls into 4 pieces.
- Add red chilly powder and salt as required
- Blend it to make a semi fine paste without adding water.
- Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seed,then add chopped shallots and curry leaves.saute for few seconds.
- Add steamed and sliced balls into it.combine well
- Add coconut mix
- Give a quick toss mix well and switch off the flame.
- Serve hot/warm.
