- Pumpkin cubes - 2 cup
- Ragi - 1 cup
- cow peas(soak overnight) - 1 1/2 cup
- Grated Coconut - 1
- Jaggery(powdered) - 1 cup
- Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
- Fennel seed powder - 1/2 tsp

- Peel off the skin of pumpkin,remove the seeds and cut into small cubes.
- Add pumpkin cubes and pressure cook again for 2 whistles.
- Grind ragi with little water to make a fine paste and add into the payasam.
- Add powdered jaggery and let i boil.
- Add grated coconut.
- Combine well and cook again for 2-3 minutes.
