  • Boil the peas till tender.
  • :- You can also cook them in the microwave.
  • Add 1/2 a cup water to peas and crush them into a paste in a mixer.
  • Mix peas paste, gram flour, atta, olive oil, chillies, onion, ajwain and salt in a bowl and knead into a dough, adding more water as required.
  • With this dough, make 4 mm thickness round about 4" diameter(like a plain roti).
  • Apply 1/2 tsp of oil or ghee and spread all over with spoon or fingers.
  • Fold it into a triangle and roll it again.
  • Heat griddle (tawa) and place paratha on it.
  • Turn to roast other side.
  • Put a little ghee on both sides and shallow fry till crisp.
  • :- Serve hot with any desired accompaniment.
  • :- Don`t put oil in between the roti if you want to avoid oil. You can use ghee or any oil of your choice.
