MIllet Palak Rice

this is a south indian dish ,commonly preferred as a good variety rice ,since it is a good iron rich food.

Ingredients
  

  • cooked millet rice 1 cup ( i have taken bran yard)
  • moong dal 1/2 cup
  • palak chopped 1cup
  • onions 1 cup
  • tomatoes chopped 1/2 cup
  • mustard 1 sp
  • jeera 1 sp
  • ginger chopped1/2 sp
  • red chillies 3 nos
  • oil 5 sp
  • ghee2 sp
  • salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • cook moong dal in water
  • when half cooked add palak turmeric and 1/2 sp jeera
  • in a pan add mustard jeera ginger and red chillies
  • add onions when soft add tomatoes to it
  • to this add cooked palak and cooked millet rice
  • stir well with salt and ghee and serve
