- coriander 1/2 cup -
- mint 1/2 cup -
- urad dal 2 tsp -
- bengal gram 2 tsp -
- coriander seed 1 tsp -
- cumin seed 1/2 tsp -
- Small onion 1 cup -
- Garlic 5 no. -
- Ginger : 1 small piece -
- Red chili 4 no. -
- Green chili 3 no. -
- Tomato : 1 no -
- tamarind as required -
- grated coconut 1/4 cup -
- Salt to taste -
- Oil : 3 tsp -
- Mustard : 1/2 tsp -
- curry leaves 6 no. -

Instructions
- in a pan heat the oil and fry the cumin seed and coriander seed
- add urad dal and bengal gram and roast it
- now add coriander and mint leaves and fry it
- add red chili and green chili and mix it
- now add grated coconut and mix well, switch off the flame and allow to cool
- add everything in jar and grind it
- heat the oil and temper the mustard and curry leaves and transfer into the chutney. now coriander and mint chutney is ready. serve with rice
