- Moong dal - 1 cup
- Dried Ginger(A small piece) -
- Jaggery - 3 cubes
- Coconut - 3 tbsp
- All purpose flour(Maida) - 2 cups
- Turmeric powder(A pinch) -
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Water(As reqd) -
- Oil(As reqd) -

Instructions
- First soak moong dal for about one hour and then cook well in a pressure cooker with water.
- Then empty the water present in cooker after cooking.
- Pour the content onto the cooked moong dal. Then add coconut and mix well.
- When it becomes cold, roll into small balls.
- Add water then mix well so that the batter looks like that of idli mix.
- Then pour sufficient in a pan and heat. When it becomes hot, take balls and dip in the batter and then deep fry it.
- Beautiful and yummy modhakom is ready. It will be very yummy for kids.
