- mutton 1/2 kg -
- onion 2 no. -
- Tomato : 1 no -
- ginger garlic paste 3 tsp -
- clove 3 no. -
- cinnamon small piece -
- fennel seed 1/2 tsp -
- Cardamom : 1 no -
- Red chili powder : 1 tsp -
- coriander powder : 2 tsp -
- Turmeric Powder: 1 tsp -
- black pepper 2 tsp -
- Salt to taste -
- Grated coconut : 4 tsp -
- Oil : 4 tsp -
- Ghee : 2 tsp -
- Coriander leaves : to garnish -

Instructions
- temper the fennel seed, cinnamon, cardamom and cloves
- add onion and curry leaves and saute it for 5 mins until the onion turn into colour
- add turmeric powder, red chili powder and coriander powder and mix well
- add 1 glass of water and allow the masala to get cooked
- add tomato and mix it and allow to cook for2 mins
- add mutton, salt and pepper and mix well
- keep it in medium flame and cook for 5 mins
- now add required water and allow the mutton get cooked
- garnish with coriander leaves, now mutton milagu is ready to serve
