- Crab - 1/2 kg
- Onion - 2 nos
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
- green chilli - 4
- Garam masala - 1/4
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Kashmiri chilli powder - 2 tsp
- Pepper powder - 1/2
- Tamarind(kudampuli ) - 3

- For preparing the Nadan Crab Roast, firstly cook the cleaned crab in a mud pot with salt, turmeric powder, kudampuli, green chillies, curry leaves. ginger, garlic paste and water. Cover and cook it till the water is reduced.
- Heat coconut oil in a pan, add the chopped onions, curry leaves and saute it. Add turmeric, kashmiri chilli powder. pepper powder ,garam masala powder and saute it again.
- Now the Nadan Crab Roast is ready to serve. Serve it hot with rice, idiyappam or appam.
