Nadan Kerala Mutton Roast is a delicious roasted mutton dish that pairs well with Appam, Parotta, Roti as well as rice. Mutton pieces are combined with a spicy chilly mixture and cooked in a pressure cooker until done. The cooked mutton pieces are slow roasted in sufficient oil to a dark brown color with rich aroma and flavor. The lip smacking dish can be easily prepared at home. - Mutton - 500 Grams
- Onion(Chopped ) - 1 Medium
- Shallots(Chopped ) - 10-15 Nos
- green chilli - 4-5 Nos
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 + 1 Tsp + Tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1 Tsp
- Chilli powder - 1+1 Tsp
- Pepper powder - 1/4+1/2 Tsp
- Garam masala - 1 Tsp
- Coriander powder - 1 Tbsp
- Tomato(Chopped ) - 1 Large
- Curry leaves - 1 Spring
- Coconut oil - 2 Tbsp
- Salt(To taste ) -

- In a pressure cooker, add mutton,turmeric powder,chilli powder, pepper powder,ginger garlic paste and salt, mix well, and cook for 4-5 whistle.Turn off the heat and let the pressure release on its own.
- In s kadai add oil ,add curry leaves,green chilies,and ginger garlic paste, sauté until raw smell goes.
- Add chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala and pepper powder, saute well for 2 minutes.
- Add cooked mutton in it, and sauté well for minutes.
- Super delicious mutton roast is ready to serve with chapathi , Parotta etc....
