Ingredients
- Fish - 1 lb
- Chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Coriander leaves - 1/4th of
- Tomato - 1 no
- Tomato Ketchup - 1 tbsp
- Cloves(Grambu) - 4 nos
- Cardamom(Elakka) - 4 nos
- Cinnamon(Karugapatta) - 1" piece
- Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1/2 tsp
- Onion(big) - 2 nos
- Curd - 1/4th cup
- Mustard seeds(A pinch) -
- Garlic pods - 2 nos
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Oil(As reqd) -

Instructions
- 1) Clean and cut the fish.
- Marinate them in chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt for 1/2 hr.
- Shallow fry the marinated fish pieces and keep them aside.
- Grind together roasted spices, mustard seeds and half the sliced onions.
- Heat oil.
- Add the remaining sliced onions, garlic, ground spices and a pinch of turmeric powder and fry well.
- Add well beaten curd and 1 cup water and simmer for 10 - 15 minutes.
- Add fried fish pieces and continue simmering for another 10 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve.
