Ingredients
- Pachhari( raw rice) - 2 cups
- Cleaned and sliced Palak(Spinach) - 1 cup
- Red chilli powder - 1 tspn
- Turmeric powder - ½ tspn
- Cumin seeds - ½ tspn
- Blackgram Dhal - 1 tspn
- Sliced onion - 1 Cup
- Sliced Tomato - ½ cup
- Salt(As required) -
- Coconut/Refined Oil - 3 –

Instructions
- Heat Oil in a frying pan and then add Cumin seeds, Blackgram dhal and stir it
- Add Red Chilli powder, Turmeric Powder and salt
- Also add the Palak (spinach) pieces into this mix and stir it well and allow to cook the Palak some time.
- Add the cooked rice into this mix and stir it further
- PalakChawal (Spinach Rice) is ready and it can be served with Chutney/Pickle
