- Palak - 2 cup
- Coconut grated - 1 cup
- Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
- Green chilly - 4
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Curry leaves - 5
- Salt - 2 tsp
- Coconut oil - 2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp

Instructions
- First in heat oil in a kadai add 2 tsp of oil and add mustards .when mustard crackles, add palak ,salt and turmeric powder and cook f or 2 minutes.
- Add half ground coconut, cumin seeds, green chilly and onions to this palak.
- Mix well properly and allow it to cook till it becomes dry on a low flame.
- Mix continuously for 5 minutes.Now palak thoran is ready to serve.
- Serve with hot chappathi or with side dish for rice.
