- Toor dal - 1 cup
- Green chilly - 4
- Salt - 1 tsp
- Water - 1 cup
- Tomato - 2
- Mustard - 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
- Oil - 2 tsp
- garlic - 5
- Onion - 1
- Chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp

Instructions
- When it is cooked mash and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a kadai add mustard when mustard splutters add cumin seeds,then add garlic,red chilly and onion saute for 2 minutes.
- Add mashed dal mix to this and boil for 2 minutes in low flame.Add chilli powder and turmeric powder and coriander leaves to this and mix all together.
- Now pappu chaaru is ready to serve.
