Ingredients
- Basmati rice - 2 cups
- Green peas - 1 cup
- Ginger(garlic paste - 2 tsp) -
- Water - 3 cups
- Aniseeds(Perinjeerakam) - 1 tsp
- Cinnamom(Karugapatta) - 2 nos
- Cloves(Grambu) - 5 nos
- Bay leaves(Karuga ela) - 2 nos
- Cardamoms(Elakka) - 4 nos
- Onion(chopped) - 1 no
- Green chillies - 2 nos
- Vegetable oil or Ghee - 7 tbsp
- Coriander leaves(As reqd) -
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- Soak rice in water for half an hour.
- Add onions, green chillies, ginger & garlic paste & peas. Stir and fry for about 2 minutes.
- Then, add rice and fry till the rice turns opaque(approximately 3 minutes).
- Allow peas pulao to cook.
- Finally, garnish the peas pulao with coriander leaves.
- :- serve peas pulao hot.
