Potato, Carrot & Peas Salad With Walnuts

  • Potatoes : 3 nos
  • Carrot : 2 nos
  • Peas shelled : 1 cup
  • 3 stalks Dill chopped : 2 optional
  • Walnuts chopped : 50 gm
  • 5 tsp Mayonnaise : 4
  • Salt : to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper : few


  • Boil the potatoes and cut into small cubes.
  • Slice the carrots into ¼” thick round pieces.
  • Steam the carrots and peas together in a microwave with a little water.
  • Blanch the peas & carrots in cold water after they are cooked to retain the color and drain off all the excess water.
  • Mix the boiled potatoes, carrots, peas, chopped dill, salt, freshly ground black pepper and mayonnaise together well.

  • Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with chopped walnuts.
