- Potatoes(chopped into cubes) - 3 nos
- Red chillies - 2 nos
- Tamarind pulp(Puli) - 15 ml
- Fenugreek seeds(Uluva) - 1/2 tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Asafoetida(A pinch, Kayam) -
- Oil(For frying) -

Instructions
- For preparing Potato Kuttu, first wash, peel and cut potatoes into small cubes (1/2 cm x 1/2 cm).
- Sprinkle some salt and keep aside for 15 minutes.
- Fry potatoes in hot oil till golden brown in color. Keep it aside.
- Heat a little oil in a pan.
- Splutter mustard seeds and add fenugreek seeds, whole red chillies(deseeded) and asafoetida.
- Grind this to a fine paste.
- Mix together tamarind juice and ground masala.
- Stir in fried potatoes and mix well.
- :- Serve crispy tangy Potato Kuttu hot.
