Prawn Coconut Soup
A yellow Coconut and Prawn soup
Ingredients
- 250 gm Shrimps chopped
- 100 gm Yam Chena
- 100 gm White Pumpkin
- 50 gm Beans
- 50 gm Peas
- 100 gm Yellow Cucumber
- 100 gm Drum Stick Muringakkai
- 2 nos Coconuts
- 5 gm Corn Flour
- 2 gm Turmeric powder
- 5 gm Peppercorns
- Cumin seeds
Instructions
- Wash, clean and cut the vegetables.
- Boil them till soft but not mashy.
- Chop shrimps.
- Grind together peppercorns, green chillies, cumin and turmeric to a fine paste.
- Heat oil in a thick bottomed pan.
- Add ground masala and fry for a minute.
- Add second extract and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Mix corn flour with a little water and add to the gravy.
