Punjabi style Rajma(Red kidney beans) Masala

Ingredients
- Red kidney beans(Rajma) - 200 gm
- Cumin powder(Jeerakam) - 1/2 tsp
- Onion(medium) - 1 no
- Ginger(garlic paste - 1 tsp) -
- Curd - 2 tsp
- Tomato puree - 3 tsp
- Coriander powder - 2 tsp
- Kasuri methi - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Chilly powder(As reqd) -
- Coriander leaves(A few) -
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Oil(As reqd) -

Instructions
- Soak rajma in water overnight.
- Grind onion into a paste.
- Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
- Add cumin powder, onion paste and stir, till it turns light brown.
- Add curd and stir well, until it turns brown.
- Add tomato puree followed by coriander powder, chilly powder and kasuri methi and stir for 2 - 3 mins.
- Add the mixture to the cooked rajma and pressure cook upto 1 whistle.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- :- You can also cook the onions before making it into a paste.
