  • 1 cup Ridge Gourd Skin
  • 10 nos Small onion shallots
  • 4 Red chili
  • 5 Garlic
  • Tamarind small
  • 1/4 cup Coconut
  • Oil as needed
  • 1 tsp Channa dal
  • 1 tsp Urad dal
  • 1/4 tsp Mustard


  • Peel the skin of Ridge Gourd.and keep aside.
  • Heat the pan add oil and add channa dal urad dal saute golden colour comes.
  • Now add Onions and fry it .
  • Put Ridge Gourd skin and saute till raw smell goes.
  • Now add red chili and garlic and tamarind and mix well in low flame
  • Add coconut and mix well and off the flame and allow it to cool.
  • Grind the mixture in the mixie
  • Now heat small pan add oil temper the mustard and channa dal and dry chiliserve with dosa or idly .
