- Butter - 1 tbsp
- Onion(chopped) - 1 no
- Lemon grass(chopped) - 1 tbsp
- Bay leaf(Karuga ela) - 1 no
- *Vegetable Stock - 2 cups
- Pepper(As reqd) -
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- For preparing simple pumpkin soup, heat a pan and add butter. Add onion, pumpkin and lightly fry.
- Then put it in a blender and grind well.
- Heat a vessel, add stock and put 1 bay leaf in it and boil. Add the ground pumpkin and boil it.
- Add salt and lemon grass.
- Cook well. Add pepper before serving.
- Simple pumpkin soup is ready.
