Ingredients

2 tea Rice Flour Ari podi
1, medium Jaggery Sharkkara
2 tbsp Sesame Seeds Ellu
1 cup Grated Coconut
4 tbsp Coconut Pieces Thenga Khotthu cut in small pieces
3 - Plantain Palayamgoden Pazzham
2 pinch Salt
4 nos Cardamom powdered form, Elakka
1 pinch Cumin Seeds optional, Jeerakam

Instructions

Mix all the ingredients together with enough water make it to a sticky but not very loose batter or paste. Best mixing can be done in a mixer. one minute grinding will do.
Take a big full round spoon and pour into the heated oil in the unni appam tray.
Fry both sides, till it becomes golden brown.
