Ingredients
- Shrimps(Chemmeen) - 1 lb
- Onion(big size) - 1 no
- Coconut oil(preferred) - 2 tbsp
- Curry leaves - 1 sprig
- Water - 1/4 cup
For Marination:
- Chilly powder - 2 tsp
- Black Pepper Powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp

Instructions
- Marinate the cleaned shrimps with all the powders and salt for atleast half an hour.
- Tranfer the shrimps to a shallow pan.
- Cook the shrimps with 1/4 cup water. :-It should be done by 10 mins.
- When all the water has dried up, add oil and the sliced onions and curry leaves.
- Fry stirring in between and also check the level of salt.
- Remove from stove when the onions turn translucent and set in.
- :-Do not fry for more than 5-10 mins or else the shrimps would turn hard.
- :-Serve the Spicy Shrimp Fry with hot rice.
- :-The same recipe can be used for making liver fry also:)
