Sweet Corn Chicken Soup - Chinese Style

  • 1 cup Sweet corn
  • 4 tbsp Chicken after cooking, chopped into small pieces
  • 5 cups Water
  • 2 tbsp Corn flour
  • 2 cubes Chicken stock cubes
  • 1 no Egg
  • Pepper As reqd
  • Salt As reqd


  • In the water, dissolve the 2 cubes and add sweet corn into it and let it boil.
  • Into this, add the corn flour after it is dissolved in little water.
  • When it starts to boil nicely, add the egg which is beaten well into it, with a fork simmer it.
  • :- You should get the egg as thread.
  • Switch off the flame.
  • Add the pepper and salt as reqd.
  • Garnish with chopped chicken pieces. :- Serve hot.
  • :- Its best if u use white pepper as it will not give a different colour.
