Tamil Nadu Coconut Burfi Sweet Burfis or cakes made with coconut 1 cup Coconut powder1 cup Sugar1 cup Water10 nos Cashewnuts1 tsp Ghee Boil sugar and water in a vessel while keeping the gas on a medium flame.Stir sugar and water, till it becomes a thick syrup.:- If you put a little bit of that syrup in a glass of water, it should stay thinkly in the top. This is the current stage of syrup.Add coconut powder and stir well for few more mins. Add ghee and cashewnuts and mix well.Pour it onto a greased plate. Allow it to cool.:- Greasing the plate with oil or ghee helps to cut and remove the pieces easily.Cut them into diamond shaped pieces or any other shape of your choice. Tamil
