Ingredients
- biriyani rice 2 cups -
- Water : 4 cups -
- Bay leaf: 1 -
- star anise 1 -
- cinnamon 2 -
- Cloves : 6 -
- Cardamom 5 -
- fennel seeds 1/2 sp -
- green chilli 6 -
- Mint leaves : few -
- onions chopped 1 cup -
- tomatoes 7 - 8
- ginger garlic paste 3 sp -
- Coriander leaves : few -
- Salt -

Instructions
- heat pan and add the spices
- add mint leaves and green chillies
- add onions
- add tomatoes and leave it untill they turn soft
- add salt
- soak rice for 15 mins and drain the waterr completely and now add it to the boiling water.
- when rice and water comes to a equal height simmer flame and close lid and leave for 10 mins.turn off aloow the gas to settle.
- open and stir it gently and serve with raithas
