Instructions
- Add the flour and mix until smooth.
- Pour into a baking pan of desired shape.
- Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30-40 minutes. Time for baking depends on the shape and size of baking pan. Bake until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
- Allow it to cool.
- Once cooled, cut into three medium thick layers.
- For the Icing 7)Mix room-temperature milk and maida.
- On medium heat, keep stirring the mixture until thickened (make sure to avoid forming of lumps). Keep it to cool.
- Mix butter and sugar in another vessel until fluffy.
- For the Decoration 11)Cut thick slices of strawberries.
- Keep a layer of cake and a few slices of strawberry on it.
- Spread the icing on it. Use a fork to make holes on it so that the icing goes inside the cake layer.
- Keep another layer of cake and repeat the process.
- Finally, on top, spread the icing and a few slices of strawberries and squeeze a little chocolate syrup on it for decoration.
- Vegetarian valentine cake is ready.
