- yellow pumpkin 1 cup -
- small onion 15 no. -
- Green chili 1 no. -
- curry leaves 6 no. -
- crystal salt to taste -
- sambhar powder 1 tsp -
- Oil : 3 tsp -
- urad dal 1/2 tsp -
- Mustard : 1 tsp -
- bengal gram 1/2 tsp -
- Coriander leaves : to garnish -

Instructions
- peel the skin and chop the yellow pumkin
- heat the oil in the pan and temper the mustard, broken urad dal and bengal gram
- add chopped onion, green chili and curry leaves and saute it
- add yellow pumpkin and mix well
- add crystal salt and mix well
- add sambhar powder and mix well
- garnish with coriander leaves, yellow pumpkin poriyal is ready
