Flying fish belongs to the family Exocoetidae. There are almost 50 species living in warm waters. They are able to glide in air just above water. They are small sized with maximum length of 18 inches. These fishes have an unevenly forked tail. Flying fish is nutritious high in Vitamin B12 in addition to niacin.
