Delicious North Indian dish with a yummy combination of potato and green peas in a spicy gravy

Ingredients
- Potato(cleaned and chopped) - 3 nos
- Green peas(Mutter) - 1 cup
- Onion(chopped) - 2 nos
- Garlic – 3(chopped) - 4 cloves
- Tomato(chopped) - 2 nos
- Coconut oil or refined oil(As reqd for frying) -
- Red chilly powder - 2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Salt(As reqd) -

- Remove the fried onion from stove and allow it tocool for some time.
- Once it cools down, grind it along with red chillypowder, turmeric powder and salt and keep it separately.
- Again heat the cooking pan, pour some oilin it and add the ground masala. Fry for some time.
- When this masala mix turns into browncolour, add the chopped potatoes, greenpeas, required water and boil well.
- Cook till the potatoes and peas soften well. Put offthe stove and decorate the dish with coriander leaves/curry leaves.
- Aaloo mutter masala can be served with chappatis,dosa, bread and even with boiled rice.
