  • Heat a pan add 1 cup water and 2 tsp oil in it , when it gets boils off the flame and add rice flour in to it and stir well.
  • Then close it and keep it aside.
  • Then cook the potato using salt and chilly powder (for extra taste add sliced onion or shallot a little).
  • Then mix the rice flour well with hands and make it a smooth dough.
  • Then add the cooked potato on it.
  • Mix it well and make the potato is fully distributed with flour.
  • Then add coconut on it and mix well.
  • Make a smooth dough.
  • Make small balls from the dough.
  • Then using a chappathi maker or a roller make it a little fatty round shaped pathiri.
  • Enter Step
  • Then heat a frying pan add ghee or oil in it and when it gets hot place the pathiri on it.
  • When both sides get brawn or cooked ,take the pathiri out.
  • Enter Step
  • Transfer to the serving dish, it can be taken without curry also, and in good combination with chicken and beef curry.
  • It will take maximum 40 minutes to finish cooking.
