American Chocolate Brownie

Its a yummy cake rich in chocolate

  • 1 1/4 cups Maida flour
  • 3/4 cups Cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 cup Sugar powder to mix with eggs
  • 3/4 cup Sugar powder to mix with butter
  • 5 nos Eggs
  • 200 gm Butter
  • 5 tbsp Drinking chocolate
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla essence
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/4 glass Coco cola


  • Sieve maida,cocoa powder and baking powder.
  • Separate egg yolks. Melt butter and add drinking chocolate.
  • Mix egg yolks, sugar pwd, flour, and egg white. Blend it well.
  • Pour the melted butter-chocolate mix to it.
  • Blend it well and add the vanila essence.
  • Bake the cake at 180" C for 35 - 40 minutes.
  • Mean while, melt 2 tbsp of butter and add drinking chocolate powder,cocoa powder,3 tsp maida, powder sugar,little milk and make it a thick paste.
  • Cut the cake tranversely and make it into 2 layers.
  • Spread the cola over it with spoon followed by the chocolate mix.
  • Similarly do for the other layer and place it over the first layer so that chocolate is sandwiched between 2 layers.
  • Spread the paste over the cake and refrigerate it.
  • Cut into pieces and store itin fridge.
