- Packed brown sugar - 1/3 cup
- Baking powder - 2 tsp
- Cinnamon(ground, Karugapatta) - 1/2 tsp
- Nutmeg(ground, Jathikka) - 1/4 tsp
- Tart apple(peeled & finely chopped, medium) - 1 no
- Water - 3/4 cup
- Dry nonfat milk(milk powder) - 1/2 cup
- Veg oil - 1/4 cup
- Egg(large) - 1 no
- Bran flake cereal - 2 cups
- Salt - 1/2 tsp

Instructions
- For preparing Apple Bran Muffins, first preheat oven to 400ª F. Grease or paper-line 12 muffin cups.
- Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg in a medium bowl. Keep flour mixture aside.
- Add it to the flour mixture and stir until moistened.
- Stir in cereal.
- Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups, filling 2/3 full.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Remove to wire rack and cool slightly. Apple Bran Muffins, a delicious snack is ready.
