  • 3 nos Tomatoes cut in halves
  • 1 tbsp Fresh basil
  • 150 g Ricotta cheese
  • 1 tsp Black pepper corns crushed
  • 4 nos Turkish bread rounds split
  • 1/2 tbsp Hot chilli sauce
  • 50 g Baby spinach leaves
  • Olive oil As reqd


  • For preparing tomato with ricotta cheese, take a baking tray and place the tomatoes with cut side up. Bake at 200 C for 30 minutes until soft.
  • Take a bowl and place basil, ricotta cheese, chilli sauce and crushed pepper corns. Mix together and combine.
  • Take the split bread rounds and spread ricotta cheese over the bases.
  • Top the bread round with roasted tomatoes and spinach leaves. Cover the top with a bread round and brush the top surface with olive oil. Repeat the same with remaining bread rounds.
  • Take a preheated pan and cook both sides of the bread rounds in low heat for 2 minutes until golden in color.
  • Yummy and nutritious baked tomato with ricotta cheese is ready. Enjoy.
