  • 3 nos Bananas bananas must be very ripe and have black spots on skins
  • 220 g All purpose flour Maida
  • 100 g Granulated sugar
  • 100 g Butter melted
  • 2 nos Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla essence
  • Lemon juice Of one lemon


  • Preheat the oven to 160 degrees. Grease a medium sized cake pan.
  • In a clean bowl, mash bananas with a fork. Add lemon juice and sugar and combine well.
  • Beat the eggs and add to the mixture. Add baking powder, essence and flour.
  • Add the melted butter and stir with a spoon till just combined.
  • Spoon the mixture into the prepared pan and bake for an hour, until risen and golden brown. When cool dust it with icing sugar. Enjoy
