- Long beans - 250 gm
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Green chillies - 2 nos
- Coconut oil - 2 tbsp
- Mustard seeds(A pinch) -
- Curry leaves - 1 stalk

Instructions
- Cut beans into small pieces.
- Cook them along with turmeric powder and salt, until half done.
- Heat the coconut oil in a kadai or a pan.
- Add mustard seeds and curry leaves.
- When it starts to splutter, add the half cooked long beans and chillies and simmer, until it turn dry.
- :- Serve with rice and curd or any gravy.
- :- Similarly, bitter gourd, ladies finger and brinjal can be used. If using these veg, do not cook it in water.
