Ingredients
For the dough:
- Allpurpose flour(Maida) - 4 cups
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Water - 4 tbsp
- Oil (hot) -
- For the filling: -
- Grated Coconut - 1/2 a
- Coriander powder - 2 tsp
- Cumin powder(Jeerakam) - 2 tsp
- Chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
- Jaggery(Size of a lemon, Sharkkara) -
- Semolina roasted(Rava) - 1 tbsp
- Coriander leaves(chopped) -
- Salt(As reqd) -
For the seasoning:
- Oil - 1 tbsp
- Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
- Green chillies - 3-4 nos
- Curry leaves - 6-7 nos
- Oil for frying -

Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients for the filling in a bowl.
- Heat a little oil in a pan.
- Add mustard seeds and when they splutter, add finely cut green chillies, curry leaves.
- Add this seasoning to the filling and mix well.
- Make small balls off the dough and roll them into small pooris.
- Keep one tbsp of the filling in the centre of each poori and fold them.
- Roll gently again.
- Fry them in oil.
