Butter Chicken - Chicken In Cream Gravy

Ingredients
  

  • 900 gm Chicken
  • 4 nos Onion finely chopped, big
  • 4 nos Tomato finely chopped, big
  • Ginger cut into long and thin strips
  • Turmeric powder A pinch
  • 1/4 tsp Chilly powder
  • 1 no Capsicum cut into square pieces, big
  • 10 nos Cashew nuts
  • 1 tin Fresh Cream Nestle
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • Salt As reqd
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing

Instructions
 

  • Grind cashewnuts to a smooth paste.
  • Heat butter in a pan.
  • Saute onions in it, till transperent.
  • Add tomatoes and saute till they are soft.
  • Add ginger and mix well.
  • Add turmeric and chilly powder and mix well.
  • Add chicken, salt and mix well.
  • Close the lid and cook.
  • When it is half cooked, add capsicum.
  • Add cashewnut paste.
  • Finally, add fresh cream(whipped well with a spoon).
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
