Cabbage Raita
Steamed
cabbage
mixed with yogurt mixture and seasoned with
mustard seeds
and
curry leaves

cut into thin, long strips

Beetroot

Carrot

Yogurt
1/2
tsp
Mustard seeds

Green chilly
finely sliced
2
sprigs
Curry leaves
Pepper powder
As per taste
Salt
As reqd
Oil
As reqd
Instructions
first steam
cabbage
,
beetroot
,
carrot
in a microwave for 1 minute taking care that the crunchiness is not lost. Do not over cook the
cabbage
.
Mix together the ingredients: yogurt, green chilly,
pepper powder
and required
salt
in a bowl. Stir in steamed
cabbage
and mix gently. 3)Heat
oil
in a pan. Splutter
mustard seeds
and add
curry leaves
.
Pour into
cabbage
raita and serve chilled.
