Carrot and Mushroom Fry with a touch of pepper - Ramya V

  • 250 gm Carrot
  • 200 - Button mushrooms
  • 2 nos Onions medium
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • Salt As reqd
  • 2 tbsp Oil


  • Quarter and slice carrots(thin), slice onions and quarter mushrooms.
  • Heat oil.
  • Saute onion and carrot.
  • Add salt.
  • When carrot is nearly cooked, add mushrooms and saute for another 5 - 10 mins.
  • Add pepper.
  • :- Serve hot with chappathis.
  • :- While adding mushrooms, add some water and boil. Strain and add pepper to the water to make excellent carrot-mushroom soup.
