Cassata or Cassata siciliana is a traditional sweet from all areas of Sicily, Italy, born in Palermo. Cassata is an ice-cream, shaped like a brick, consisting of layers of ice-creams of different flavours on liqueur soaked sponge

  • 200 gm Three flavour ice cream
  • 100 gm Sponge cake
  • 1/4 cup Sugar syrup
  • 1/4 cup Nuts


  • In rectangle box wrapper downward plastic paper and keep cake
  • Now brush the sugar syrup and soak it well
  • Now Apply one colour of ice cream spread well
  • Now third layer of second colour ice cream
  • Now next colour do the same
  • Now sprinkle the nuts and wrap top of paper
  • Now freeze for 6 - 7 hours.
  • Now Its ready to serve cassata ice cream
