Cauliflower Curry - Spicy Cauliflower curry 1/2 kg Cauliflower2 tsp Oil1/2 tsp Mustard seeds1/4 tsp Black gram (Uzhunnuparippu)1/2 tsp Salt6 tsp Green gram (Cheruparippu)1/4 tsp Turmeric powder1 no Dry red chilly (Kollamulaku)2 tsp Grated coconut (optional) Cut cauliflower into small flowerets.Put these pieces in boiling water by adding 1/4 tsp salt, turmeric powder, dry red chilly and leave it covered for 5 min.Remove the cauliflowers which float on top to a separate vessel to ensure that the rest of the flowerets are clean.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. When they pop, add black gram. When it`s roasted, add the washed cauliflower.Add green gram, 1/4 tsp salt, 2 tbsp of water and cook it covered in low heat, stirring occasionally to see if it is fully cooked and soft.Finally, add grated coconut if required.
