Cauliflower Pepper Masala

Very simple dish.......

  • 1 no Cauliflower small
  • 2 nos Onion finely sliced, medium
  • 5 nos Green Chillie Slit
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Pepper to taste
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1 tbsp Oil


  • Cut the cauliflower florets into medium sizes and immerse it in hot salt water for about an hour and drain.
  • In a tablespoon of oil, saute finely sliced onions, green chillies for about 2 minutes.
  • Add turmeric powder, salt & the florets and saute well.
  • Reduce the flame and cook covered. :-Do not add water, if required, just sprinkle water in between. Also, take care for the florets to not to be over cooked, it should be a bit crunchy.
  • Add pepper powder to taste and curry leaves and toss well.
  • :- Serve hot. :- This goes well with rice.
