- Jackfruit seed - 15 nos
- Tomato - 2 small
- Coconut - 1 cup,grated
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Red chilly powder - 1/4 tsp
- Mustard - 1/2 tsp
- Shallots - 3
- Green chilly - 1
- Oil - 2 tbsp

- For preparing Chakkakuru Thakkali Curry, take all the ingredients and keep it ready.
- Cook the jackfruit seeds with tomato, green chilly, turmeric powder, chilly powder, green chilly, salt and water as required for 4-5 whistles.
- Add water if required and bring it boil.
- Heat oil in a pan, splutter mustard seeds and add chopped shallots. Saute it until golden brown in colour and mix it with the curry.
- Delicious chakkakuru thakkali curry is ready to serve.
