Ingredients
- Prawns(Chemmeen) - 1 lb
- Onion(medium) - 1/4 of
- or -
- Pearl onions(Kunjulli) - 8-10 nos
- Grated Coconut(if fresh, then it would be more tasty) - 1 cup
- Ginger - 1" piece
- Garlic pods - 2 -
- Green chillies - 4 -
- Chilly powder - 1/4 -
- Coriander powder - 1/4 -
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Curry leaves(A few) -
- Kukum star(Kudampuli) - 2 -
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- Clean and cut the prawns in 2-3 pieces, depending on its size.
- Grind coconut with ginger, green chillies and garlic.
- Mix prawns with ground coconut, the powders, kudampuli, curry leaves, small pieces of sliced onions, salt and little water. Mix it well.
- Keep it on fire.
- Allow it to boil and keep it on low flame, till it gets cooked and partially dry.
