- Prawns - 400 g
- Onion(chopped) - 1 no
- Green chillies(slit) - 2 nos
- Ginger - 1 piece
- Coriander powder - 1 tsp
- Chilly powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1/2 tsp
- Coconut(grated) - 1 cup
- Gambooge(Kudam puli) - 2 pieces
- Coconut milk - 1/2 cup
- garlic(chopped) - 1 tsp
- Shallots(chopped, Kunjulli) - 5 nos

Instructions
- For preparing chemmeen thenga curry, first grind coconut with cumin seeds, coriander powder, chilly powder and turmeric.
- In a clay pot, add coconut oil. Fry onion, green chillies and chopped ginger in it.
- Add gambooge and cover it and cook well.
- In a pan, fry garlic, shallots and curry leaves.
- When starts to boil, remove from flame. Yummy and healthy prawn delicacy is ready. Serve hot.
