Ingredients
  

To make 4 bajjies:-

  • 4 nos Chilly bajjies large
  • 400 gm Gram flour Kadalamavu
  • 50 gm Chilly powder
  • Salt As reqd
  • Tamarind To be filled inside the chillies
  • Asafoetida powder As reqd, Kayam
  • Water As reqd
  • Oil for deep frying

Instructions
 

  • Mix gram flour, chilly powder, salt and asafoetida in water to prepare a smooth batter.
  • Make a small hole on the chilly to fill the tamarind.
  • Dip the chillies in the batter.
  • Fry them in the oil till they become golden brown.
