- Fish(washed and drained) - 250 g
- Onion(sliced) - 2 nos
- garlic(crushed) - 3 cloves
- Green chillies - 6 nos
- Tomato(sliced) - 1 no
- Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Coriander leaves(Few) -
- Oil(As reqd) -
- Salt(As reqd) -

- For preparing chilly fish masala, first grind together tomato and green chillies to a fine paste and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a deep bottomed pan and saute crushed garlic, coriander powder and turmeric powder in low flame.
- When a frying smell comes, add the ground tomato mixture and fry well.
- When the gravy has acquired a thick consistency and the fish pieces are done, remove the vessel from fire.
- Chilly fish masala, a yummy nutritious dish, is ready. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
